4:Where is the first barrage of Narmada river being built?

The first barrage on the Narmada river is being built in Handia in Harda district. It is being built in Bhamauri village near Nabhikund, the heart of Narmada. A 2913 meter long barrage will be built in three phases at a cost of Rs 1193 crore. This will irrigate 35 thousand hectares of land in 72 villages of Khategaon tehsil of Dewas district. Also, 25 megawatt electricity will be produced.

Prior to this, he served in the Indian Embassy in Cairo from 2001-2003 and in Tripoli, Libya from 2003-2007.
