1: Which state has established GRIT?

Gujarat State Transformation Institute (GRIT) has been established under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.

2: Prime Minister Matsya Kisan Samridhi Sah Yojana launched?

By the Central Government, on 11 September, Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying and Panchayati Raj Rajiv Ranjan Singh launched Pradhan Mantri Matsya Kisan Samridhi Sah Yojana.

This scheme is a sub-scheme of Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana (PMMSY).

3: What is the position of India in the list of best countries in 2024?

In the ranking report prepared by US News & World Report and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, India has slipped three points from 30th last year to 33rd.

Switzerland tops the list of best countries in 2024 for the third consecutive year. Japan has climbed 4 places to second. While the US has improved by two points to its highest third position, China is 16th in the list, Sri Lanka is 55th, Bangladesh is 71st, Myanmar is 73rd, Russia is 36th and Ukraine is 80th.

Recently Russia has started its biggest Naval Exercise “Ocean-2024”.
This exercise will be conducted simultaneously in the Pacific and Arctic Oceans as well as Mediterranean, Caspian and Baltic Sea.
