1: First time reusable hybrid rocket launched

For the first time in the country, the reusable (reusable) hybrid rocket Rumi-1 was successfully launched on Saturday. Launched at 7:25 am from the Chennai coast, the rocket Rumi-1 flew to a height of 35 km in space. Three cube satellites and 50 pico satellites have been launched from the rocket.

The Rumi-1 rocket has been launched with the help of a mobile launcher in a sub-orbital trajectory. This satellite can be launched from anywhere with a mobile launcher. Mission Rumi is being described as the first mobile launch of a hybrid rocket in the world.

All these non-conventional satellites will send information by studying global warming, ozone layer and other aspects related to climate change. The rocket is equipped with generic fuel based hybrid motor and electric parachute deployer. With the help of this technology, the rocket will be able to land successfully on the ground once it takes off. Both liquid and solid have been used in the generic fuel in the rocket.
