World number-1 and MP’s Kapil Parmar created history by winning the bronze medal in Paris Paralympics. He won the medal by defeating Eliton de Oliveira of Brazil 10-0 in just 33 seconds in the Men’s J-1 category of Judo. This is the first time in the history of Paralympics that India has won a medal in Judo.

National Teachers Awards 2024:
On the occasion of Teacher’s Day on 5 September, President Droupadi Murmu honored 82 teachers with National Teachers Awards 2024 at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi
